Black Friday comes but once a year–and in 2023 it falls on November 24. In recent years, however, the deals season has expanded to cover the week leading up to Black Friday, Cyber Monday afterward (that’s November 27 in 2023), and often most of the month of November.
In the weeks leading up to Black Friday–and on Black Friday itself–we expect to see some good deals on a new Apple Watch. Return here in 2023 as November approaches for the best deals we can find. We don’t yet know what deals you’ll find for Black Friday in 2023, but to give you a better sense of what you might expect, these are all the deals from 2022:

Apple holds a Black Friday shopping event, but rather than offering discounts it just gives gift vouchers for certain products. In 2022, from November 25-28, you could get a $50/£50 gift card when you buy the Apple Watch SE, which starts at $249.

Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch Ultra deals
All three of the Apple Watch models currently on sale are new, having come out in September 2022. But ahead of Black Friday, we’re finally seeing meaningful discounts on the Apple Watch Ultra (MSRP $799/£849). At Amazon, you can get the Apple Watch Ultra for $739 ($60 off).
Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch Series 8 deals
The Apple Watch Series 8 (MSRP $399/£419) is also just a couple of months old, and we’re already seeing $50 off at Amazon and Walmart.
Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch Series 7 deals
Last year’s Apple Watch Series 7 had an MSRP of $399/£369 when it came out, but it’s since been discontinued. Only buy if you can find a major discount of $100 or more–and our research suggests many retailers have already sold off their remaining stock.
Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch SE (2022) deals
In September Apple updated its budget smartwatch for 2022, and the 2nd-gen Apple Watch SE has an MSRP of $249/£259. We expect deals to surface over Black Friday. It’s currently $20 off at Amazon.
Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch SE (2020) deals
The original Apple Watch SE came out in 2020 and had an MSRP of $279/£249 at the time. With two years gone and the product removed from Apple’s range, you shouldn’t be paying anywhere near that, but you may find that stock has simply dried up and deals are few and far between. And you’ll need to watch out for used or second-hand watches, which should be labelled as “renewed” somewhere on the page but can be hard to spot. If a deal looks especially good, that could be why.
