Apple’s Black Friday sale for 2023
Each year Apple holds a Black Friday shopping event, but rather than offering discounts it just gives gift cards for certain products. In 2022 this promotion applied to the iPad Air, iPad mini, and 9th-gen iPad:
- $50/£50 Apple Gift Card: iPad Air, iPad mini
- $30/£30 Apple Gift Card: iPad (9th-gen)
The offers are available on Apple’s website during the sales period, but we don’t know yet what will happen in 2023. It’s just possible Apple will announce some actual discounts, but don’t count on it.

Latest 10.9-inch iPad (2022) deals
Apple’s 10th-gen iPad (MSRP $449/£499) launched in October 2022, which meant Black Friday 2022 came too early for deep discounts. However, it did drop to $399 at B&H Photo. This year we can expect bigger savings.
Latest 10.2-inch iPad (2021) deals
The 9th-gen iPad (MSRP $329/£369) from 2021 remains on sale, and may be a better option if money is tight. We’ve seen it drop as low as $269.
Latest iPad mini (2021) deals
