Back in 20 April 2021 at its Spring Loaded event Apple introduced a new 24in iMac loaded with the M1 chip, available in up to seven different colours. It’s a great machine, but the bad news is that ever since it launched it’s been difficult to get hold of Apple’s 24in iMac so the discounts have been few and far between.
The good news is that stock is starting to return to a reasonable level and you might even be able to get a discount. In this article we’ll reveal where you can buy the 24in iMac with M1, how much they cost, and where to get the best deal.

Without further ado, here’s where to buy the 24in M1 iMacs and at the best price in the UK and US.
24in iMac deals
Now that stock is starting to come back you can actually find some deals, we’ll list the best below.
In the UK:
- Amazon has the £1,249 green and silver M1 iMac for £1,129.97, the blue model for £1,147.97, and the pink model for £1,149.97. Amazon also has the pink £1,449 model in stock for £1,149 and the blue £1,449 model in stock for £1,259.97. The £1,649 models are also discounted: you can get the silver model for £1,363, the blue and pink 8-core GPU iMac for £1,499, and the green model for £1,529.
- Laptops Direct also has money off off the £1,249 M1 iMac with 256GB storage in silver: get it for £1,129.97. You can also get the £1,449 iMac from Laptops Direct for £,1259.97 in blue.
- Currys has the green 256GB 7-GPU M1 iMac in stock for £1,139 (RRP £1,249), the blue, pink and islver models are £1,449. You can also get the blue 256GB 8-GPU model for £1,329 (RRP £1,449). Pink is £1,349. The best deal is on the silver top-of-the range model which is £1,363 (RRP £1,649).
- BT Shop has money off the £1,299 model: get it for £1,175 and the £1,649 512GB model: get it for £1,551.48.
- KRCS also has some money off all the 24in iMac. Get the 8-core CPU, 7-core GPU for £1,186.55 from KRCS and the £1,449 model for £1,376.55 from KRCS here. KRCS also has the 24in iMac, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 512GB (RRP from £1,649) available for £1,566.55 – order from KRCS here.
In the US:
- Amazon – 7-core GPU is in stock in blue and discounted to $1,199 (RRP: $1,299). Amazon also has the green $1,499 model for $1,250.55. You can get the $1,699 in blue for $1,648.92. The green model is $1,649.
- B&H Photo Video – 7-core GPU is in stock for $1,199 ($100 off) if you choose the blue model.
- Best Buy – has some models in stock right now, but no discounts.
- Walmart – has models in stock and reduced prices for the $1,299 model – now $1,249.99. The $1,499 model is $1,449 in pink, and the $1,699 model is now $1,674.

Apple is selling certified refurbished 24in iMacs in both the UK and US, saving customers up to 15% on an iMac that’s practically indistinguishable from new.
Unfortunately, both UK and US stock tends to sell out quickly, so we highly recommend checking the storefront often.

In the UK, Apple slashed up to £310, which dropped prices as follows:
- 24in iMac with M1 with 8‑Core CPU and 8‑Core GPU, 512GB SSD (green) – usually £1,649, was reduced to £1,399 (£250 off)
- 24in iMac with M1 with 8‑Core CPU and 8‑Core GPU, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD – usually £2,049/$2,099, was reduced to £1,739/$1,609 (£310/$490 off)

- 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 256GB SSD – £1,449/$1,499/AUD$2,199 in green, pink, blue, silver, yellow, orange, and purple
- 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 512GB SSD – £1,649/$1,649/AUD$2,499 in green, pink, blue, silver, yellow, orange, and purple

What is the 24in iMac with M1?
The M1 iMac features a 4.5K Retina display with slimmer bezels and a completely flat back. Apple credits the lither form to the M1 chip’s SoC architecture, which should also boost CPU performance by 85%. See our full review of the 24in iMac (2021) M1.
In addition to faster performance, Apple promises up to two times faster GPU performance. The upgraded iMac also includes a 1080p FaceTime HD camera with studio-quality mics and a six-speaker set-up.
